In 1954 Bill Morris started a sandwich shop to feed the aviation enthusiasts using the Kentmorr Airstrip. Many years and many expansions later, The Kentmorr Beach Bar & Grill now sits atop of humble beginnings.
A Story of Friends: Clark Mowery (Chef and Food Purveyor) Ryan Gordon (Chef and Owner of the The Queen Vic and Granville Moore’s) have been enjoying the Ketmorr Restaurant together as patrons for nearly a decade. They caught wind of the owners’ retirement after a successful 30-year run and jumped at the chance to continue the legacy of the restaurant while integrating their own concept and personalities, and a fresh new name.
A Truly Unique Experience: Located on Kent Island in Stevensville, MD and easily accessible from the first exit off of 50 after crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from Annapolis, The Kentmorr Beach Bar & Grill boasts two dinning rooms, an indoor bar, outdoor deck seating, and its very own private beach with beachside tiki bar. The restaurant has ample parking for both cars and boats.
Focused on Local Ingredients and Seafood: The Kentmorr Beach Bar & Grill believes in sourcing local whenever possible and the menu of staple favorites and rotating specials reflects this ethos. Our menu spans from steamed crabs, local seafood, great burgers and classic pizza.
Creative Drinks and Local Craft Beer: We have some of the most talented bartenders on Kent Island mixing up classic beach drinks, the best fresh crushes on the Eastern shore, and a rotating selection of seasonally created cocktails. We serve the freshest local craft beer from Atlas Brew Works along with a selection of the usual suspects of macro island favorites.
